What is recorded here

Enclosure in Lattoon stands on a low rise in County Galway, its circular form reduced to a faint bank partly swallowed by modern fields. The northern sector has vanished entirely, and a trackway cuts through the interior like a wound. What remains is a ghost of shape, not a clear boundary. It is the kind of place that resists certainty, offering only a circle broken open by time and traffic.

On top of a low rise. Very poorly preserved circular enclosure (D 24m). The enclosing bank is integrated into the present field system and the entire N sector is destroyed. A trackway runs from N to S through the monument and has disturbed the interior.
