What is recorded here

In pasture, on top of a roughly circular hillock. A roughly circular area (c. 20m N-S; 17m E-W) defined by remnants of a sod-covered stony bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.35m) W-N and by a scarp (H 1.55m) N-SE. Elsewhere the scarp merges with the hillock. The interior is level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
