Situated on high ground in an upland area with extensive views. Nearby enclosure site (TN019-029) and ringfort (TN019-028) lie to the NE and N respectively. Depicted as a small oval enclosure on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level.
