What is recorded here

Knockballyfookeen holds a forgotten circular enclosure thirty-two metres across, split by a drainage channel cut after 1700. It sits beside Rathaniska ringfort and ancient barrows on wet pasture, suggesting people lived and marked death in the same shallow landscape. The ditch still traces the boundary beneath grass and water, preserving a shape that ownership and drainage never fully erased.
