Enclosure in Kilsarkan East is a vanished circular boundary beside Kilsarkan graveyard in County Kerry, Ireland. Its levelled bank still marks the north, east and west, while the graveyard wall sits upon its southeast edge. The place is a ghost inside a living boundary, half buried under the stones that later people laid to hold their dead.

A possible levelled enclosure immediately NW of Kilsarkan graveyard (KE049-086002-) was described in 1988 by the Castleisland District Archaeological Survey as follows; 'Immediately outside the northwestern corner portion of the stone built wall of Kilsarkan Graveyard lies what appears to be the levelled outline of a circular enclosure. The outline of the enclosure can clearly be traced on the north, east, west and to a lesser extent on the south-southwest. The northwestern portion of the present graveyard appears to have been built over the southeastern portion of the enclosure. The remains of what appears to be a levelled circular enclosure lie clearly visible outside the northwest corner of the modern Kilsarken Graveyard. The external rise of the levelled bank of the enclosure is clearly visible on the north and east and to a lesser degree on the west. The faint indication of the levelled bank can also be traced on the southwest and west. A faint depression possibly indicating the presence of a fosse can be traced outside the line of the levelled bank on the southwest and south. The northern portion of the stone wall enclosing the graveyard on the east, and the western portion of the northern enclosing wall have both been built on top of the southeastern portion of the enclosure’ (SMR File).
