What is recorded here
Killabban’s hidden enclosure still lies northeast of St. Abban’s church, waiting for rain or memory to reveal its edges. Two concentric ditches circle an incomplete space, suggesting a boundary drawn twice because the first line did not feel sufficient. Perhaps people walked that double rim when ordinary fields became uncertain, marking the place where belonging began and ended.
Located NE of St. Abban's R.C. church. Aerial photograph (GB89.X.24) shows cropmark of an incomplete sub-circular enclosure defined by two concentric fosses.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
