What is recorded here

In pastureland which slopes gently to S. Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1930) as a circular enclosure (D c. 40m) cut by a field boundary at SSE and WSW. All that survives is a subcircular area defined by a shallow but wide fosse (Wth 3-4m). A field fence cuts across the monument at SE and SW, and there is a hollow in W half of the interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
