What is recorded here

In upland pasture to W of Galtee Mountain range, 160m E of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Baurnagurrahy. Enclosure (LI057-019002-) lies to immediate S. Not depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. It is shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as a raised oval-shaped area (dims. 18m NE-SW; 16m NW-SE) defined by a scarp with an external fosse from W-N. Truncated at N by field boundary running NW-SE and at SE by a field boundary curving from NE-SW. Recorded by Westropp as a conjoined fort (1919-17, 21).
