Enclosure in Gowle,kilquiggin,seskin (shillelagh By.)

Situated on a high saddle along a ridge with higher ground to the NE and SW. Circular enclosure (diam. 13.5m) with a level interior defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 2m; H 0.75m). No indication of a fosse, entrance or internal features. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
