What is recorded here
Listed in the SMR (1989) and RMP (1995) and classified 'Enclosure' in both. On a SE-facing slope within a dense plantation of coniferous and deciduous trees. It is shown on the 1913 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a subrectangular-shaped hachured feature. It's depiction on this map resembles that of a quarry rather than of an archaeological monument. There were no upstanding remains visible when visited in 1991 or in the course of the latest inspection in 2012. However a feature resembling the plan of the feature depicted on the map is visible from aerial photography coverage (OSi Orthophoto).
