Enclosure in Gorteen (ballybrit By., Gorteen Ed) — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Situated on West facing slope of rising ground in upland area. Roughly circular domed area (diam 18m N-S) enclosed by an earthen bank reduced to a scarp where it survives. Modern road intersects site from N to E with quarry in West quadrant. Domed interior probably the result of spoil from quarrying. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
