Situated on flat pasture in an upland area with good views in all directions and nearby enclosure site (TN019-012) to the E. Depicted as a circular enclosure on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
