What is recorded here

In generally level pasture, very slight downslope to ENE. Circular area (dims. 30m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by remains of low scarp (Wth 1.15m; H 0.5m) which is best preserved SE-ENE and levelled out, yet still visible ENE-SE. Fosse (overall Wth 4.15m; basal Wth 1.75m; D 0.18m) is best preserved SE-ENE and is backfilled ENE-SE. Causeways (Wth c. 2.5m) across fosse at SW and WSW may be modern. Possible traces of levelled outer bank SW-NNE. Interior is generally level and in lush grass. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
