On a roughly circular knoll which projects to NW from a NNE–SSW ridge, at the N side of Red Hill. The knoll is largely engulfed in gorse which makes examination difficult. The top of the knoll is flat (diam. c. 12.5m) and appears to be defined by a scarp (Wth 3.4-3.6m; H 1.4m at W, 1.8m at E) which merges with the natural knoll slope at E but has a more pronounced step at W. It is possible, therefore, that the knoll was modified in the past to create a platform or enclosure. Compiled by: Jane O'Shaughnessy Date of upload: 11 January 2015
