Located c. 270m E of an N-S river valley, in tillage. The M9 motorway runs NE-SW c. 200m to the W. A circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 70m) indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map and on the 1947 revision. The monument has subsequently been levelled and the fosse is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (ASIAP (108) 35-36; 22 July 2000).
A ringwork and bailey (KK023-080----) is located c. 400m to the NE and an enclosure (KK023-078----) is located on the W side of the river valley, c. 350m to the W. Two other enclosures (KK023-076---- and KK023-077----) are located c. 460m and c. 410m to the NW respectively.
