Cropmark of fosse of large roughly oval enclosure (c. 80m NE-SW) visible in aerial photograph (CASAP, July 1989); trace of second outer fosse at NE and SW ends; outer fosse truncated by road to NW. On 1842, 1904 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps, SW end indicated as curved field fence, with lime kiln indicated where fence joins the road. Site not inspected. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
