What is recorded here

This subcircular enclosure, not marked on the OS maps, is located in pasture on the summit of a low rise, NW of Derryloughlin. The ruined enclosing stone wall survives only one to two courses high and is largely concealed in thicket. Block-like slabs form an external facing, but its inner flank is no longer discernible. The bank has completely disappeared in the NE and SW sectors, where a stone field wall now bisects the site. The entrance may have been located at either gap. The area enclosed measures 22.8m in internal diameter. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
