Enclosure in Dooneen (trughanacmy By.) — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Dooneen enclosure vanished beneath agricultural buildings around 1974, erasing a marker that had stood in County Kerry since before memory. The landowner admitted the leveling, and modern farms now occupy the exact footprint where something older once held its shape. What was lost may have been a boundary, a shrine or a gathering place, but the ground itself forgot the distinction.

Levelled monument described in 1985 by the Castleisland District Archaeological Survey as no surface remains visible of monument which according to the landowner had been levelled c. 1974 (SMR File). Modern agricultural buildings stand on the footprint of the enclosure which are visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-13.
