What is recorded here

O'Kelly (1969) wrote that a rath stood in Dillon's land, yet no surveyor ever marked it. The earth swallowed the boundary while people kept living above it. Curraghkehoe holds a hole where memory should be, waiting for someone to dig until muscle and marrow meet.

O'Kelly (1969, 7) in describing Curraghkehoe townland mentions that there is, 'a rath in Dillon's land'. There is no monument indicated in this townland on the 1st (1839) ed.
