In wet poorly drained grassland. Ringfort (LI033-055----) annotated 'Cromwell's Fort' lies 450m to SW. Enclosure (LI033-173---) immediately to SW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 118; AP 5/2024) as an enclosure. Curvilinear ditch visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
