What is recorded here
On the S side and just above the floor of a small E-W valley with fair views in all directions. A raised platform, roughly circular in plan (max. dims. c. 45m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth c. 2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1-1.5m. The enclosure encompasses a natural hillock, with rock outcrop protruding at the centre. The raised summit of the hillock (H above interior 0.6m) runs NE-SW across the interior. There is no visible evidence of a fosse. There is a possible entrance (Wth c. 3m) at E, though this may simply be where the bank is more denuded.
