In undulating pasture. Oval area (22m N-S; 9m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 2m; Wth 15m) sharpest to SW->NNW but more gradual elsewhere. Site occupies summit of small low hillock and utilised sides of hillock to enhance its own edge. Interior level and under grass.
