Enclosure in Coollick (magunihy By., Kilcummin Par.)

In pasture, on a small hillock. Reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland as the low remains of a large enclosure. There is no visible surface trace of an enclosure at this location. Naturally formed, elevated area of ground defined by steep slope to N and E and a more gradual slope to S (depicted as a contour on the OS six inch map). A potential cropmark of a pair of small, conjoined enclosures, located on top of the hillock, are evident upon modern aerial photography (OSi 2010).
