What is recorded here
Situated on the N-facing slope of a ridge. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). Indicated by a solid line on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1999 this was found to be a circular stone enclosure (int. diam. 26m) of apparently modern construction defined by a wall built of loose thin slabs with a large gap at N.
