
What is recorded here
Near the W edge of a plateau, in rough pasture within a multiperiod field system (CL009-084001-) and just 7-8m E of the townland boundary between Commons and Meggagh West. An oval enclosure (c. 35m N-S; c. 20m E-W) defined by a low bank visible on OSi MapGenie orthophotography (2013-2018) and on Digital Globe (2011-2013). A cashel (CL009-084017-) and Man-made underground passage (CL009-084028-) lie c. 134m to the SW. Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 19 June 2023
