Thirty-six metres south of a hidden enclosure, Anne Carey opened a human burial in 2002, proving that Clonascra still gives up dead people even when its boundaries refuse to show. The enclosure itself remains invisible on a natural glacial hillock, neither marked nor mastered, waiting for someone clever enough to stop looking for walls and start listening for absence.

Not visible at ground level. Site appears to be that of a natural glacial hillock with no man-made features visible. Potential monument identified by T. McDonald as part of an archaeological survey of the Clonmacnoise region in 1987 (McDonald 1987, 8). Human burial (OF006-135) that was excavated by Anne Carey in 2002 under licence no. 02E0636 was located 36m to the S of this potential enclosure.
