What is recorded here
One chamber, one edge, one edge of a room that no longer has walls. The measurement is not the wonder. The chamber is still visible in the number of rooms it contained.
Geophysical survey (05R137) identified the remains of an oval enclosure 50m x 40m in diameter which coincides with an area of raised ground. A small circular enclosure (c.15m diam.) with a south-eastern entrance is indicated within its interior, as are several pit responses. As series of underlying weak deposits may indicate earlier settlement of suggest more than one phase of occupation (Nicholls & Shiel 2005 10).
