In improved pasture, on a natural ridge (long axis E-W). Depicted on latest edition OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (dims. c. 40m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE). According to local information the monument was levelled c. 1950s/1960s. Monument visible as a circular cropmark on an aerial photograph (ASIAP (33) 14-17). No visible surface trace.
