Enclosure in Castlegar East is a 26-metre circular mark on a gentle slope, reduced to a low scarp and faint ditch traces after centuries under Castlegar Demesne. Its south-western edge still holds a level gap where an entrance may have stood, while a road now covers the northern sector. The place resists easy description because so much has been lost, yet that partial shape invites imagination about the people who drew its boundary and the lives it enclosed.

On a very gentle N-facing slope; formerly part of Castlegar Demesne. A very poorly preserved roughly circular enclosure (D 26m) consisting of a central area defined by a low scarp, with traces of a shallow external fosse and counterscarp at SSE, suggesting that there may have been an outer bank. An apparently undisturbed area of level ground at SSW may be the original entrance. A road overlies N sector.
