What is recorded here
An annexe (SL041-020004-) was noted on the NE side of Carrickard cashel (SL041-020001-). The annexe consists of a roughly D-shaped area (14m NE-SW; 11m NW-SE) defined by a sod covered stone bank (int. H 0.4; ext. H 0.45). The bank of the annexe links to the external face of the cashel bank at NE. A possible entrance (Wth 2.5m) to the annexe lies near the junction of the annexe and the cashel bank at NE. The function of this annexe is unclear.
