What is recorded here

On top of a slight WNW-ESE ridge, c. 600m N of the WNW-ESE Carnfree ridge. D-shaped grass-covered area (dims 56.7m NNE-SSW; 41.7m WNW-ESE) defined by earthen banks (Wth 4-6.5m; int. H 0.2m generally to 0.5m at E; ext. H 0.4-0.6m) with a curved side at N, and the straight S side interrupting a relict field E-W field bank of field system (RO028-056001-). There is no visible fosse but the entrance (Wth 1.2m) is at E. Rath (RO028-235----) is c. 30m to the SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
