Enclosure in Carks

In rough hill pasture, on a N-facing slope, sheltered by a rocky scarp to the N. A circular area (diam. 5m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.55m) which protrudes above the surface of the bog. A boulder is incorporated into the wall along the NW arc. There is another enclosure (KE101-093001-) c. 20m to the E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
