What is recorded here
In low-lying gently undulating improved pasture at the centre of a relic field system (TS058-042001-) with two enclosures (TS058-042003- and TS058-042005-) 250m to the SE. Roughly circular slightly raised area (diam. 18m) defined by a gently sloping earthen scarp (overall Wth 3.2m; H 1.7m) with an external fosse (overall Wth c. 2m). A modern crescent-shaped depression has partially removed the scarp NE-SE but the original line of the external base of the scarp survives. The fosse is visible SE-SSW where a bare outline can be traced. The original entrance is not recognisable. The interior is level and clear of overgrowth.
