In pasture, on S-facing slope. Subrectangular area (68m E-W; 36m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 3.2m; ext. H 0.1m on upslope) with external fosse (D 2.4m). East and W sides slightly curved; N and S sides linear. Internal height of bank diminishes as one approaches S side of enclosure. Causewayed entrance (Wth 4m) to SSW. Interior slopes down to S; raised on S side to compensate for hillslope and cut into hill on N side.
