What is recorded here

Situated on the NW-facing slope of a NE-SW ridge in an upland area. A raised oval-shaped platform (diam. 20m NW-SE; 28m NE-SW) enclosed by a poorly preserved bank (Wth 1m) mainly reduced to a scarp (H 0.4-0.9m) with no entrance feature visible. A field fence intersects the external face of the scarp at W on a N-S axis. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
