
What is recorded here
On a W-facing slope in gently undulating pastureland overlooking a stream. Marked on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (c. 6 m E-W; c. 54m NNE-SSW). A NE-SW running roadway curved around it from E to SW. No visible surface trace survives of the enclosure or the roadway, or the subsequent field boundaries shown in this area on the 1946 revision of the 6-inch map.
