What is recorded here

This small circular enclosure consists of a circular area enclosed by a low earthen bank. The enclosing bank is 2.5m wide and rises to .6m high. A 2m wide gap exists to the E. This enclosure measures 15m N- S and 15.5m E-W, and was possibly an animal pen. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1037. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
