Situated on a slight rise, in gently rough, wet undulating and hilly pasture, with limited views of the surrounding landscape. Ringforts (WM018-086---- and WM018-088----) lie c. 150m to SSW and c. 165m to SE, respectively. No surface remains visible of possible enclosure which is is depicted on an 18th century estate map where it is depicted as circular shaped enclosure (NLI, MS 21 F 48 (26) ). Monument is not visible on Digital Globe aerial photography.
