What is recorded here

Enclosure in Ballinvally, drumsawry OR Summerbank is a grass-covered annexe beside a rath on a NW-facing slope beneath Slieve na Calliagh. Its curving bank and shallow fosse mark a small rectangular space, perhaps a byre, storepen or kitchen garden for the main dwelling. The field wall and townland boundary cut across its northern edge, suggesting the enclosure once crossed or abutted the divide between Ballinvally and Drumsawry or Summerbank.
Located at the crest of a NW-facing slope in the N foothills of Slieve na Calliagh ridge. There is a small subrectangular grass-covered annexe (dims c. 16m E-W; c. 16m N-S) defined by a curving earthen bank (at W: Wth of base 5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.5m) and outer fosse (at W: Wth of top 5.5m; ext. D 0.2m) W of rath (ME009-058----), but its N extent is truncated by a NE-SW field wall and townland boundary with Drumsawry or Summerbank.
