Earthwork described in 1943 as following; 'This monument consists of a circular platform, which is quite level and only slightly raised over the surrounding field. It is surrounded by a shallow fosse, and the entrance is not recognisable. Its greatest height over the field level is 3' [0.9m] and the overall diameter is 108' [33m]. It is in low lying marshy ground' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 175). Cropmark of the monument is clearly visible today on Digital Globe aerial photographs.
