
What is recorded here
A roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m N-S; c. 37m E-W), the fosse is visible as a cropmark on satellite imagery (Apple maps satellite imagery), identified and reported by Jean-Charles Caillère. A field boundary, depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map and subsequent revision, which ran NE-SW cut across the NW perimeter of the monument, was levelled between 2011 and 2015.
