In reclaimed pasture, 110m E of townland boundary with Tankardstown, a possible barrow (LI040-060----) lies 110m to the SE. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Circular cropmark (Site No. 040239) identified during examination of aerial photographs (BGE 1/50000 2552) taken 03/11/1984 on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline. Monument visible as a roughly circular shaped cropmark (dims. c. 22m N-S; 30m E-W) intersected at N and S by a linear cropmark running E-W on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
