Enclosure in Baile Ristín, County Kerry, Ireland: A circular enclosure, about twenty metres across, stood at the foot of Knockmoylemore overlooking Trabeg. It has been destroyed, leaving only a rough circle of reeds where its boundary once cut the land. The loss is not empty; it is a reminder that even small marked places can disappear when attention turns elsewhere.

The circular enclosure marked on the OS maps has been destroyed. It was about 1 chain (20m) in diameter (OSNB Garfinny, 36) and the site is now marked by a roughly circular area, 16 to 18m in diameter, of rough ground with a thick growth of reeds. It was situated at the foot of the S slopes of Knockmoylemore overlooking the low-lying land that surrounds Trabeg. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
