Enclosure in Baile An Chnocáin (tc Cill Chuain)

Cloghaunnageragh/Clochán na gCaorach: On open mountain terrain on W side of Brandon mountain, a little below and to N of Loughs Eightragh and Oughteragh. A rectangular enclosure KE034-028001-, 5.5 x 4m, abuts hut at E, and a small rectangular chamber, 1.5m square, is built against NE corner of this. A 2nd enclosure, 3.5m square, abuts NW side of hut and a D-shaped chamber, 2 x 1.3m, is built against its NW wall. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
