Enclosure in Attycristora — Report the wrong picture

Attycristora holds a bare ten-metre circle on a sharp Clare ridge, watching Lahinch through grass and distance. The small enclosure faces a steep cliff and a forgotten ringfort, suggesting people once valued the view enough to shape the land. Matthew Kelly brought the hidden bank back into human knowledge, proving that even a modest circle can anchor a whole region’s memory.

Situated just S of the highest NW point of a NW-SE ridge in pasture. A steep cliff-like face forms the N side of the ridge. A subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 10m) is barely discernible on satellite imagery defined by a low bank. A ringfort (CL023-006----) lies c. 60m downslope to SW. Reported to the National Monuments Service by Matthew Kelly.
