An enclosure in An Bhráid Uachtarach, Donegal, held a fort that people levelled about the turn of the century. It stood on poor pasture midway up a south-facing slope at the east end of Glencolumbkille valley. The earth swallowed its shape, leaving only the valley and the memory of a lost strong place.

A local tradition records that a 'Fort' was levelled here about the turn of the century. There is no trace of it now. It was situated on poor pasture midway up a S facing slope at the E end of Glencolumbkille valley. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
