What is recorded here
Situated on a SE-facing slope. First identified in archaeological testing (02E0275) in advance of the N25 Waterford City by-pass (Russell (2006f), and fully excavated (03E1215) as a feature in Area A of Adamstown 1 (Russell 2006i). This is an arc of stake-holes (diam. c. 10m) surviving SE-N. The stake-holes (diam. c. 7cm; D c. 0.2m) are too slight to be structural, and there were no significant internal features. Hut-site (WA017-123006-) and kiln (WA017-123007-) are c. 35m to the ENE, while kiln (WA017-0123004-) is c. 85m to the NW. (Russell and Ginn 2011a)
