What is recorded here

Emily Cecil was born in County Dublin in 1750, the same year the American colonies began whispering about liberty while her father managed their affairs from London. She later crossed into England, married into the Cecil line, and took command of the Hatfield Hunt in 1775, becoming the first Englishwoman recorded as Master of Foxhounds. A woman born across the sea in a house full of imperial business ended up riding ahead of men on horseback, drawing breath and steel in the Hertfordshire air.
