What is recorded here

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 45-50m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and located towards the bottom of a SE-facing slope. It is regarded locally as the site of a rath, but it is not visible at around level in pasture. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
