What is recorded here

Marked as an oval embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 70m N-S; c. 60m E-W) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6 inch map and similarly on the 1924 ed. of the map. It is situated on a slight rise in a low-lying landscape, but it is not visible at ground level in a cereal crop. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
